Menopause and Perimenopause

A menopause blood test is one type of hormone test many women ask us about, particularly during perimenopause, when symptoms like hot flushes, mood changes, and irregular periods can start well before periods actually stop. The NHS notes that women over 45 with typical symptoms are often diagnosed based on symptoms alone, without a blood test. However, for women under 45, or where the picture is less clear, testing can offer valuable clarity and reassurance.
