  • No GP referral needed.
  • Results within 48 hours.
  • Nurse practitioner led.
  • Choose between a one off test or save money with a yearly subscription.

Recreational Athlete Blood Test £225

What we test:

  • Hormones: Full thyroid panel including TSH, Free T3, Free T4 and both thyroid antibodies. Plus testosterone, LH, SHBG and Free Androgen Index key markers for energy, drive and recovery in both men and women.
  • Iron & oxygen carrying capacity: Full iron panel including ferritin, serum iron, transferrin and iron binding capacity. Low iron is one of the most common and most overlooked causes of poor performance.
  • Vitamins & minerals: Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Folate (B9), Magnesium, Zinc and Calcium. The nutrients your body depends on to train, recover and function.
  • Full blood count: Red and white blood cells, haemoglobin, platelets and immune markers.
  • Heart health & cholesterol: Full lipid profile including HDL, LDL, triglycerides and cardiovascular risk ratio.
  • Blood sugar: HbA1c average blood sugar levels over three months.

Performance Athlete Blood Test £265

For athletes who train with purpose and want data to match.

The Performance Athlete Blood Test builds on our Recreational panel and adds the markers that matter most when you’re pushing harder. Inflammation, stress hormones, muscle recovery and more accurate nutrient testing.

Perfect for:

  • Athletes in structured training programmes
  • Anyone preparing for a key event or competition
  • People who want to monitor how their body responds to training load

What we test:

  • Everything in the Recreational panel, plus:
  • Inflammation: HS-CRP and ESR two inflammation markers that show how your body is responding to training stress and whether you’re recovering properly between sessions.
  • Cortisol: Your primary stress and recovery hormone. Chronically elevated cortisol is one of the biggest signs of overtraining and is rarely tested outside elite sport settings.
  • Active B12: A more accurate measure of B12 status than standard B12 testing tells you whether your body is actually using the B12 it has.
  • Creatine Kinase: A muscle damage marker that rises after intense training. Tracking this over time gives you genuine insight into your training load and recovery status.

  • Kidney & liver function: Full panels covering urea, creatinine, electrolytes, liver enzymes, bilirubin and protein levels. Endurance sport places significant demand on both organs and this is rarely monitored outside elite programmes.
  • Advanced cardiovascular markers: Apolipoprotein A1, Apolipoprotein B and APO B/A1 ratio. A more precise picture of cardiovascular risk than standard cholesterol testing alone.
  • DHEA Sulphate: An adrenal hormone and longevity marker that reflects long term stress on your body. Commonly seen in elite athlete monitoring and anti-ageing medicine.
  • Cardiac & muscle stress markers: Creatine Kinase MB (CKMB) and Myoglobin. Markers used in hospital settings to assess cardiac and muscle stress. For endurance athletes pushing their limits these give an unparalleled insight into how hard your body is really working.
