Why Vital Health Checks exists
Vital Health Checks started from a very personal place.
My wife Emma has faced some serious health challenges over the years, including sepsis.
Going through that with her made me realise how much we don’t know about what’s going on inside our own bodies until something goes seriously wrong. I kept thinking, what if we’d known sooner? What if there had been something that flagged it earlier?
I also started asking questions about my own health. But when I went to the GP I hit the same wall so many people hit. You’re expected to know what’s wrong with you before you walk through the door. Most of the time you don’t. You just know you don’t feel right.
That’s why I built Vital Health Checks. Not for people who are seriously ill, the NHS is there for that. But for the people in the middle. The ones who feel off, feel tired, feel like something isn’t quite right, but don’t have answers yet.
